For Gear Heads:
The BAE Audio 1073 Mic Pre Eq is as authentic as you can get to the original 1073, featuring the same St Ives (Carnhill) transformers as the vintage modules, Elma switches and Canford wire. BAE Audio 1073 Mic Pre Eq looks identical to the original vintage module and will happily retrofit in vintage Neve 80 Series consoles because the entire product is engineered in exactly the same way as the originals: the same chassis construction, connectors, printed circuit board layouts, hand-wired looms, and circuitry.
The BAE Audio 1073 is a single channel strip, rack-mount preamp replica of the iconic Neve 1073. Looking for an identical replica to a Neve 1073 without the issues your might encounter time to time with a vintage 1073. Look no further...the BAE 1073 is the key. Everything about BAE 1073's is identical to the original. There is "NO" green board. It is truly hand-wired and point to point soldering on every unit. They knobs, switches and wiring come directly from the UK. I love spreading the word of BAE Audio to all of our customers. They truly do make some of the best recording equipment in the world.
